wrestling is a sport like no other and starting at a young age really boosts the interest in your future. Your life is changed after just one season. All of the opportunities you receive, lessons you learn, and people you meet are really life changers.
Going into grade 9 I had my mind set on being a volleyball star. It was my favourite sport and I am really good too--not to be cocky. But, one day we had an activity fair which allowed all students to see all of the different sports, clubs and activities. One that caught my attention, was wrestling. I walked up and talked to some of my now closes friends today: Mariana and Danica. Danica had told me that it was very hard, but it got you in shape very quickly. But more importantly that it was all you. Your wins are yours ,but so are your losses. No one else is out these to help you on the mat and its up to you to put In the time. What she said to me that day changed my life, and had me stick out the whole season.

Wossaa was the best I have ever wrestled in my entire life. My coach said I wrestled "textbook" which was amazing to hear, especially from him.
